We would love you to join us.
Service starts at 9 a.m. where we also provide kids programs 0-5th grades.
Following the service we have a relaxed time of food and coffee about 10.
It’s that time again to start thinking summer ministry. We are coordinating a multi-church children’s program in the park every Friday in June. We’ll need volunteers for teaching and leading the clubs, we’ll also need “off the tarp” help. “Off the tarp”…. What in the world is that? These will be volunteers that can meet and greet the parents as they hang out at the park waiting for the kids. What an opportunity to build relationships with both kids and parents of the community. Yes, “community” is one of my favorite words. See you at the park! (Stay tuned for additional information)
Puttin’ on the Ritz
Make your plans now…to attend this Gala dinner evening. This year is a little later–on Friday, March 21 at 6:00 P.M.
Puttin’ on the Ritz provides an excellent occasion for outreach. Please invite a neighbor, friend or relative who may be intimidated or uncomfortable attending a worship service. You will be served a delicious catered dinner and “over-the-top” entertainment in a beautiful surrounding. Watch for ticket sales soon. They will go fast. (Limited seating available)
Wow, that was powerful. Just finished reading a great article over at familylife.com. It’s called 3 Gifts Every Dad Should Give His Kids. To sum up… Gift #1 Love their mom, Gift #2 Teach your kids respect, Gift #3 Encourage you kids. It was a great reminder for me as I raise my kids with Christy.
We are having so much fun upstairs. Our 1st through 5th graders start in the service at 9AM and when they hear the Train Whistle they come up stairs for a little puppet video series from Phil Vischer. (you know.. the Veggie Tales guy) We would love for you and your family to be on the same page, in fact you are welcome to visit the What’s In The Bible website to know exactly what we’re going to speak on from week to week. We will be on Volume 1 Week 3 next week (Janurary 19th) Stay tuned right here on this blog for future information. Pagosa is Kids County!
In January we will be starting learning about the Old Testament in Volume One of the What’s in the Bible series. Buck Denver has lots to share with us, and… who knows… We might even catch a song or two from the Bentley Brothers.
